Reduction ammonia nitrogen and other pollutants of industrial wastewater and sewage water in river water body improvement project

Absrtact
The main purpose of this project is to ensure the water quality of river, and continue to investigate on ammonia nitrogen, heavy metals, exposed pollutants, boron, dioxin, and total mercury in coal-fired power plants to control and assessment the pollution risk. With holding international seminars ,collect domestic and other countries water management to make wastewater management appropriately. This project check what are the affected businesses by new Effluent Standards, and take 20 samples of nitrogenous substances and heavy metal to understand the wastewater disposal of businesses. And then, cooperation with Industrial Development Bureau in order to make businesses be able to reduce wastewater pollutants. This project also analyzed the 10 samples of processes of high nitrogen connection in the petrochemical industries and the chemical engineering industries, the ammonia nitrogen concentration of industrial effluent was 0.09~62.7 mg/L,one of them was over the Effluent Standards. Besides, the project also analyzed the nitrogen concentration of the unregulated businesses in Effluent Standards. According to the results, the recommended ammonia nitrogen concentration of leather related products manufacturing is two-stage, 75/30 mg/L.The recommended ammonia nitrogen concentration of finishing of textiles, basic metal manufacturing, paper products manufacturing, medical goods manufacturing, and incineration plant or other wastetreatment plant is 20 mg/L.This project analyzed 5 samples of dioxin. The results showed that the dioxin concentration of industrial effluent was ND~0.24 pg-I-TEQ/L, which all complied with the Effluent Standards. The concentration of should reveal pollutants for samples by the sewer system of science-based industrial park and petrochemical industries. Moreover, we survey and take samples from the businesses that wastewater containing boron, the boron concentration of industrial effluent was 0.427~21.8 mg/L, two of them are over the Effluent Standards. We also summarized that the mercury contents within the coals from coal-fired power plants in the first half of 109 was 0.029~0.044 mg/kg dry basis, which complied with relevant regulations.
